Much of the food, feed, and biomass consumed in the EU is produced beyond its borders, placing pressure on soils around the world. The SOLO Think Tank (TT) on Soil Footprint invites you to an online webinar dedicated to Objective 7 of the EU Mission “A Soil Deal for Europe”: reducing the EU’s soil footprint on non-EU soils.
The webinar brings together two leading voices in sustainability and agroecology to explore how the EU’s impact on soils abroad can be measured more reliably and reduced in practice. Each keynote will be followed by an open discussion, giving participants the chance to put their questions directly to the speakers. The session will close with feedback on the outcomes of the SOLO Soil Footprint TT.
The webinar is open to researchers, policymakers, land managers, and anyone interested in the global dimension of soil health.
