The European Mission Soil Week, titled 'Leading the transition towards healthy soils' will take place between 21 and 23 November 2023, in Madrid, Spain. The event is a collaborative effort between the inaugural European Mission Soil Fair, the EU Soil Observatory Stakeholders' Forum, and the PREPSOIL project. It is being organised with the support of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU and hosted by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). 

The primary objective of the European Mission Soil Week is to gather stakeholders and projects associated with the Mission, raise awareness about the critical importance of soil protection, restoration, and monitoring, and foster discussions on the necessary actions and solutions for advancing sustainable land management.

SOLO’s coordination team from iDiv will be present at the event, representing the project and disseminating its goals and accomplishments so far.
