Soils for Europe Conference Featured in the EUSO Newsletter

The Soils for Europe Conference 2026 is gaining momentum across the European soil community. We are happy to share that the upcoming event was recently featured in the European Soil Observatory (EUSO) newsletter.

The EUSO newsletter is a key source of information for everyone working with soil in Europe. By mentioning the conference, the newsletter helps us reach more researchers, policymakers, and soil enthusiasts who not only care about soil health but are also involved in activities that aim at achieving our objectives.

The feature highlights the conference as a major gathering for the EU Mission Soil. It mentions our focus on sharing the latest research, and reminds the reader of the Call for abstracts that is open until March 31. If you are interested in submitting an abstract, you can read more about the topics here.

The conference will take place from 7 to 11 September 2026 in Coimbra, Portugal.

We are glad to see such strong support from the European Commission and the Joint Research Centre. This ensures that the work that we do within the SOLO project reaches the right people and has a great potential to positively impact the EU objectives on soil health.

Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the Conference.
