On 20 October 2025, the third Regional Nodes workshop in Sweden welcomed stakeholders at Gamla Biskopshuset in Lund, for a day filled with both presentations and group and plenary discussions. The workshop welcomed 20 participants across municipalities, public sector organisations, NGOs, farmers and consultants. The meeting focused on issues around planning, starting with presentations on the ‘Development of agricultural land from a socioeconomic perspective’, and ‘City densification’. 

Stakeholders were divided into 3 groups to facilitate discussions. Each group was invited to brainstorm on the knowledge gaps and actions related to land use and city planning, followed by a prioritisation exercise.
